Looking for a unique and inspiring holiday experience? Join us for an evening of music, art, and architecture at the ninth annual History, Hymns & Holly tour. This year we will stroll through three landmark buildings in the historic East High Street neighborhood. Our tour begins at the Westcott House, designed by preeminent American architect Frank Lloyd Wright. Commissioned in 1906 by Burton and Orpha Westcott and constructed in 1908, this landmark is the only prairie style Wright design in Ohio. Our second stop is the former Crowell Mansion (now the Greek Orthodox Church), built in 1903 for Springfield’s publishing magnate J.S. Crowell in the magnificent Colonial Revival style. Our final stop is the beautiful Fifth Lutheran Church. Erected in 1893 for a burgeoning Lutheran community, this Richardsonian Romanesque church was designed by prolific local architect Robert C. Gotwald. These stops will come to life with the sounds of local musicians performing your favorite holiday hymns, including the Springfield Youth Orchestra String Quartet, Wittenberg’s Just Eve, singer Will Maddox, violinist Tyler Detrick, and more. We will conclude back at the Westcott House with delicious hot cocoa, snacks, and a cash bar! We hope you can join us for this festive holiday event!

Tickets are $10 General, $8 Members, and $5 Students.  Advance ticket purchase is recommended. Tickets are available online (see below), Fred E. Peters & Sons (411 East Main Street), and the Westcott House Museum Store (1340 East High Street).
