Champion City Endowment Fund

Help support the movement to recognize, preserve, and revitalize Springfield’s architectural and cultural heritage by donating to the Champion City Endowment Fund. To setup this endowment, the Springfield Preservation Alliance needs to raise $10,000 and is currently over half way to its goal. The fund is designed to be a grant-giving vehicle for preservation advocacy and education. Once the Alliance meets its goal, they will dispense yearly grants to individuals and organizations to help support preservation in Springfield. Several examples of possible grants would be:

Help teachers buy teaching materials on Springfield's historic buildings.
Help educate individuals by paying for educational conferences
Help contractors pay for training in the correct construction practices
